Service Repairs Technician Supervisor

I joined Datalogic ADC Slovakia in February 2010 as the one who would launch a brand new technical service repairs department and train the required number of technicians to repair SMD technology devices for Fixed Retail and Hand Held Scanners. From the beginning it was a big challenge for me, because we started with an empty office space and five new technicians. We needed to properly understand our production, technical support as well as engineering and quality activities so that we would know to whom we should address our customers specific requirements. To achieve the requested quality of each service activity we needed to train technicians on products developed in all the factories of the Group to ensure a single service point. I think our team has managed the role, achieved all the goals and provided high quality services for our customers. What I appreciate about Datalogic is the high level of professionalism and personal interest of the management, management support and personnel development not only of myself but of all people within the service center.
